Circa summer 2019, I was high on my porch in Santa Barbara. After decades of seeking and contemplation, I had an elegant revelation. The most underlying structure of my entire functional ontology found concision in three words.
Reality Goodness Work
Reality must be held above all else.
Why? We’ll save this question for later, because I find it so self-evident that I struggle from what more obvious truth could I build an argument.
Goodness must come before action and be grounded in reality.
Objectively, goodness cannot mean more than “what works”.
“Towards what” requires subjectivity, psychic valence, personal preference.

Work represents action or applied effort.
Such effort, towards or in accordance with Goodness, grounded in Reality, is synonymous with implementing effective improvements, inducing right progress.
Ideal Sentient Operating System
I further claim that this framework is the most ideal operating system were any to be enacted sentience across all of existence.
In alternative hypotheticals, more variability would be welcome, but I digress. Adequate and total variability is welcome within the order of the framework. None of the three elements are an invitation to academic excessivism; it is a functional recipe for our real world experience as sentient beings, which is relative and considerately so. Your reality is welcome, and you are welcome to continue improving upon it, at least insomuch as would be part of your self-prescribed work of goodness from your reality. More prescriptively and exactly, the fundamental call of reality goodness and work is firstly to improve upon your relationship with reality, secondly goodness, and thirdly get to work. Your relationship, not mine; and your work, not mine alone.
