Conversation

Conversation? Why are you asking? Make no mistake, if you’re opening your mouth, it is for you. I don’t mean this academically. And I don’t mean don’t start a conversation. I mean, notice what you’re up to. If you’re asking me “how are you” because you think you’re doing me a favor by being nice, you’re wrong or gambling. If I was content, then you’ve interrupted. So why did you ask? Maybe you want connection. Maybe you want to feel useful. Then get to the point. “Can I help with anything?

Exercise

Workout? Like go to the gym and lift things up and put them down? Turn the imaginary bike crank? The treadmill? These are ridiculous. These are for rehabilitating a broken body that needs controlled conditions. Use your body for real things. Sure, progressive exposure is prudent. But use your time, energy, body and calories for useful movement, or joyful play at the very least. Consider yard work, cleaning up around the house, building something, helping a neighbor, giving a massage, making love!
